Flint Energies is the leading provider of electrical power in the Middle Georgia area. JMA assisted Flint Energies in all aspects of design including architecture, programming, interior design, site master planning, and construction management. The design recognizes the high speed and high profile location, and provides a significant corporate presence and scale to the community. The striking architectural design created a unique company image for Flint Energies. The Member Services Center was designed with sustainability in mind. Several key creative design solutions as well as updated materials and systems technology significantly reduce the cost to maintain the building. The first floor is primarily devoted to spaces that serve the public. It includes the central transaction lobby, a 16 bay call center, a large meeting room, and an employee break area. The second floor provides a secure environment for company employees and executives, yet still provides access and ease of movement for customers. A full service exercise suite for employees is also located on the second floor. The site is developed around a central green space, a design solution that will save several existing rare trees.
