The Georgia National Fairgounds Livestock/Equine Show Arena provides a space to host large livestock and equine events. The master plan for the fairgrounds will ultimately provide for over 2,000 horses at an event. This project includes six buildings, and a new entry experience at the East Gate. The Security and Ticket Booths are designed to handle all of the visitors to the campus. The Security Building provides a central point to oversee the grounds. The largest building in the project is the 59,000 square foot Conditioned Arena. This state of the art facility is designed to accomodate 1,000 spectators and provide for livestock or equine venues. The Conditioned Arena is wired for a cutting edge sound system, and linked to the campus network. The Conditioned Arena is connected to a 24,000 square foot Practice Ring. This ring provides a covered space for warm-up and competition. This project is integrated into the overall master plan of the fairgrounds, and is connected by covered walkways to other nearby venues.

Working with the professionals at JMA Architecture on our project has been a positive experience for the Georgia National Fairgrounds. From project programming to design and construction supervision...We are pleased with our new facilities aesthetically and functionally.
