Houston County Courthouse
Designed and built in 1949, the Houston County Courthouse has served generations of Houston County citizens. The renovation of this facility establishes a nucleus for the downtown revitalization of Perry, Georgia. The updated building is now able to serve the citizens well into the future. It provides new offices for the Board of Commissioners and an enlarged Commissioner’s Meeting Room. Also included are the Board of Elections and County Extension Service. An elevator is installed that is accessible on all floors. The exterior of the building receives new glazing systems and roofing, but maintains its historic character. A 1950's era custom color brick was successfully matched and significant areas replaced.

"On both renovation and new construction design, JMA Architecture has focused on our desired scope, design within budget, and meeting our schedule."
