Ticket Booths & Security Building
The new Ticket Booths and Security Building functionally handles all of the visitors to the campus, and are designed to be attractive and informative for first time and returning guests and exhibitors. The Security Building provides much needed space for the Fairgrounds Security forces, and allows them a central point from which to oversee the grounds.
Livestock & Equine Conditioned Arena
This 59,000 square foot Conditioned Arena, is designed to provide a wonderful venue for all competitions, whether livestock or equine. The building is conditioned and is wired for a state-of-the-art sound system, and linked by data line to the remainder of the campus, as well as electronic messaging boards that will notify competitors of the status of their class. The Conditioned Arena is connected by a covered apron to a covered 110 foot by 220 foot practice ring.
Livestock Boarding Facility
Created as an educational facility for students at the middle and high school level, the Decatur County Livestock Facility offers an educational, show and long term housing facility for livestock, sheep and swine. This building includes covered stalls to be used for showing and exhibition, as well as pens for more permanent housing. Pens and stalls have been designed for easy and quick clean up, and wash racks are conveniently located for barn and pen areas.
