Houston County Judicial Center
 

This 225,000 square foot Judicial Center includes four courts, the Office of the District Attorney, the Public Defender's Office, the Office of the Court Clerk and the County Jail.  The entire complex includes more than sixty acres of master planned development. JMA Architecture, Inc., and HDR were associated architects on this project. The jail provides over 500 beds, and is a direct/indirect supervision facility.

Houston County Jail

This addition to the Houston County Jail, located in Warner Robins, Georgia, will provide expansion space of two pods for general population, one pod for psychiatric men and one pod for women which shall be half for psychiatric needs and half for disciplinary requirements.  Each pod shall consist of cells, a day room, and outdoor exercise yard.  Also, included is a remodeling of the existing visitation area adding three visitation stations and two interview rooms.

Houston County Court Expansion


This new courtroom space features a corner bench, with a jury box that has unimpeded views to all the multi-media presentation systems in the space.  The jury also has individual monitors mounted in the jury box for viewing detailed exhibits as the case evidence is presented.  JMA was responsible for the interior design, casework and architectural interior woodwork, and audio/visual systems integration.
